Install sequence: DVD1-DVD2-DVD1
1) Create 2 Temp folders on your hardrive.
Name one folder: BORDERLANDS_1. This will be the name (Label) of DVD1.
Name the other folder: BORDERLANDS_2. This will be the name (Label) of DVD2.
2) Copy all the contents of the Borderlands DVD9 to the BORDERLANDS_1 folder.
3) MOVE the following files from the BORDERLANDS_1 folder to the BORDERLANDS_2 folder.

Setup8.cab
Setup9.cab
Setup10.cab
Setup11.cab
4) COPY the ‘Borderlands.ico’ file from the BORDERLANDS_1 folder to the BORDERLANDS_2 folder.
5) Using the Notepad create another Autorun.inf file and edit as shown below then Save it in the BORDERLANDS_2 folder :

icon=Borderlands.ico
6) Download the ‘Borderlands.7z’ files from HERE and extract the contents of the RAR file to the BORDERLANDS_1 folder.
7) Using Orca, OPEN each MSI file (one at a time) and IMPORT and REPLACE all the tables from the ‘Tables.7z’ file. SAVE the changes before closing Orca. Choose YES to overwrite the MSI file if prompted.

8) Burn the contents of the BORDERLANDS_1 folder to a DVD (or Create an ISO) with the Label: BORDERLANDS_1
9) Burn the contents of the BORDERLANDS_2 folder to a DVD (or Create an ISO) with the Label: BORDERLANDS_2
Note: XP users can download a ‘Shortcut Table’ from HERE.
With Win7 & Vista the game’s installer doesn’t use it, however Win7 & Vista users can use the Shortcut Table if they want.
