1) Create a Temp folder on your hardrive.
Name this folder: A03005W_003_C01. This will be the name (Label) of our DVD.
2) Copy all the contents from CD1 to the Temp folder.
3) Copy all the contents from CD2 to the same Temp folder. Do NOT overwrite any files if prompted!
4) Copy all the contents from CD3 to the same Temp folder. Again do NOT overwrite any files if prompted!
5) Copy all the contents from CD4 to the same Temp folder. Again do NOT overwrite any files if prompted!
6) CD1 and CD4 have a setup.exe file, but the files are different, so rename the setup.exe file from CD4 to setup_Rise_of_the_Zilart.exe. (CD4 is the Rise of the Zilart expansion)
7) Copy all the contents from CD5 to the same Temp folder. Again do NOT overwrite any files if prompted!
8) Download and Install “Orca”
Once Orca is installed, Right Click the file “FINAL FANTASY XI.msi” and from near the top of the menu choose “Edit with Orca”. (You may have to edit the properties of this file and untick the “read only” attribute, but as it is copied to the hardrive it is probably already edited automatically).
When opened you will see 2 window panes, go to the “Tables” one on the left and scroll down to “Media”
Click on “Media” this will show you the entries in the Right pane.
Change all the entries in the “VolumeLabel” column to: A03005W_003_C01
Then “Save” it.
9) Again using Orca, Right Click the file “FINAL FANTASY XI Rise of the Zilart.msi” and from near the top of the menu choose “Edit with Orca”. (You may have to edit the properties of this file and untick the “read only” attribute, but as it is copied to the hardrive it is probably already edited automatically).
When opened you will see 2 window panes, go to the “Tables” one on the left and scroll down to “Media”
Click on “Media” this will show you the entries in the Right pane.
Change all the entries in the “VolumeLabel” column to: A03005W_003_C01
Then “Save” it.
10) Create another folder’s for any Updates, Serial, Patches and or Cracks etc.
NOTE: Name this/these folder’s whatever you want.
11) Burn the contents of the Temp folder to a DVD with the Label: A03005W_003_C01
Installing and Playing
1) First you have to install Playonline viewer tetra master – run setuppol.exe.
2) Next install the game – run setup.exe
3) Finally install the expansion – run setup_Rise_of_the_Zilart.exe.
