(2xDVD9 to 2xDVD5) *One language*

Note: You need at least 20 GB free space.

1) Create a Temp folder on your hardrive.
Name this folder: DVD1. IMPORTANT: The name of the folder MUST be: DVD1

2) Copy all the contents of the Mass Effect 2 ‘DISC 2’ DVD to the ‘DVD1’ folder.

3) Copy all the contents of the Mass Effect 2 ‘DISC 1’ DVD to the ‘DVD1’ folder.
Choose YES to overwrite when prompted.

4) Download the ‘Recompressor’ file from HERE and extract the contents of the RAR file to the ‘DVD1’ folder overwriting any files if prompted.

5) In the ‘DVD1’ folder RUN the ‘recompressor.exe’ file and wait until the process finishes. (The process could take up to an or more.)
Note: When running the ‘recompessor’ there is an option to select your language to keep, the other languages well be Deleted.

6) DELETE the ‘recompressor.exe’ file when the process finishes.

7) Using the UDF format, Burn the contents of the ‘DVD1’ folder to a DVD (or Create an ISO) with any label you choose.

8) Using the UDF format, Burn the contents of the ‘DVD2’ folder to a DVD (or Create an ISO) with any label you choose.

DVD Sizes:
DVD1: 3,84 GB
DVD2: 4,22 GB

IMPORTANT:
If you experience a problem with the ‘recompressor’ whilst it is working for example freezing at 36% or your converted DVD2 folder is only about 1 or 2 GB (instead of 4,22 GB), then follow the instructions below:

After doing Step 3 of the above conversion do the following:

4) Download the ‘Special_Recompressor’ file from HERE and extract the contents of the RAR file to the ‘DVD1’ folder overwriting any files if prompted.

5) In the ‘DVD1’ folder RUN the ‘Special_recompressor.exe’ file and wait until the message “Waiting for you” appears.
When the message appears ‘minimize’ the Recompressor. (DONT PRESS ANY KEY, just minimize it!)

6) Using FreeArc, browse to the ‘DVD1\data’ folder and compress the ‘BioGame’ folder.

FreeArc Settings:
Output archive: data.arc
Compression: Best asymmetric (with fast decompression): -m9x -ld192m -s256m

Note: After the process finishes make sure there is a file named: data.arc

7) Now, go back to the screen (Window) where it said “waiting for you” and Press ANY Key to finish.

8) DELETE the ‘recompressor.exe’ file when the process finishes.

9) Using the UDF format, Burn the contents of the ‘DVD1’ folder to a DVD (or Create an ISO) with any label you choose.

10) Using the UDF format, Burn the contents of the ‘DVD2’ folder to a DVD (or Create an ISO) with any label you choose.
