Conversion by ‘pakrat2k2’
(DVD9 to 1xDVD5) [Multi8] (ENG,FRA,DEU,ITA,SPA,RUS,POL,UKE)
*Single Player Only*
1) Create a Temp folder on your hardrive.
Name this folder: MOH_DVD5. This will be our ‘working’ folder Only.
2) Install the game from the Medal Of Honor DVD9.
IMPORTANT: For Step 3 below there is a choice between either ‘x86’ (32 bit) or ‘x64’ (64 bit) versions. Only use the file for your version.
x86 version:
3) Download the ‘MOH_DVD5_[Multi8]_X86.rar’ file from HERE and extract the contents of the RAR file to the ‘MOH_DVD5’ folder.
NOTE: Do NOT Extract the rar file to your Game’s Install folder! You need at least 20GB of Free Space.
x64 version:
3) Download the ‘MOH_DVD5_[Multi8]_X64.rar’ file from HERE and extract the contents of the RAR file to the ‘MOH_DVD5’ folder.
NOTE: Do NOT Extract the rar file to your Game’s Install folder! You need at least 20GB of Free Space.
4) Copy all the contents of the ‘Medal Of Honor DVD9’ to the ‘MOH_DVD5\MOH’ folder.
5) COPY the following files from the ‘MOH_DVD5\FAKECookedMovies’ folder to the ‘MOH_DVD5/MOH\MOHAGame\CookedMovies’ folder, choose YES to Overwrite when prompted.
IMPORTANT: ONLY COPY over the language files which you DONT want!
Do NOT Copy the files for the language of your choice!
NOTE: The Polish / Russian / French languages ALL NEED the ORIGINAL files as they use the English movie files w/subtitles.
USE Peter’s EN/FR Conversion, if you want FRENCH Movies.
Example: If you want an ENGLISH Conversion:
MOH_AltFinale.vp6 (Do NOT Copy)
MOH_AltFinale_ITA.vp6 (Copy)
MOH_AltFinale_SPA.vp6 (Copy)
MOH_AltFinale_DEU.vp6 (Copy)
Example: If you want an POLISH Conversion:
MOH_AltFinale.vp6 (Do NOT Copy)
MOH_AltFinale_ITA.vp6 (Copy)
MOH_AltFinale_SPA.vp6 (Copy)
MOH_AltFinale_DEU.vp6 (Copy)
MOHA_Legal_ID_Only_POL.vp6 (Do NOT Copy)
5) MOVE the ‘autorun.dat’ file from the ‘MOH_DVD5’ folder to the ‘MOH’ folder.
6) In the ‘MOH_DVD5’ folder RUN the ‘Re-compress.exe’ file and wait until the process finishes. (The process may take ‘Several hours’ depending on your PC)
Note: During the Compression process you will be prompted if you would like to Create the ISO files, you can choose either Yy/Nn (Both UPPERCASE and lowercase will work)
Note 2: At the end of the initial Re-Compress Install, make sure you Check the box that says ‘Launch Re-compressX64.exe’, or it wont run.
7) Burn the contents of the ‘MOH’ folder (or ISO) to a DVD with the Label: Disc1
DVD5 Size: 4.03 GB
If you have an ERROR:
If you have an error during the Compressing process, then you MUST Uninstall ‘Re-Compress’ from Windows Add/Remove Programs.
Then Re-run the ‘Re-compress.exe’ file. DO NOT change the default path!
