Conversion by ‘SuppA-SnipA’
(DVD9 to 2xDVD5)
Install Sequence: DVD1-DVD2
1) Create 2 Temp folders on your hardrive.
Name one folder: Sims3. This will be the name (Label) of DVD1.
Name the other folder: Sims3_2. This will NOT be the name (Label) of DVD2.
Note: Both DVD’s will use the same Label when burning..
2) Copy all the contents of the ‘The Sims 3 DVD9’ to the ‘Sims3’ folder.
3) CREATE a folder in the ‘Sims3_2’ folder and name it: gamedata
4) CREATE a folder in the ‘gamedata’ folder and name it: Shared
5) CREATE a folder in the ‘Shared’ folder and name it: Packages
6) MOVE the ‘FullBuild2.package’ file from the ‘Sims3\GameData\Shared\Packages’ folder to the ‘Sims3_2\GameData\Shared\Packages’ folder.
7) MOVE the ‘NonPackaged’ folder from the ‘Sims3\GameData\Shared’ folder to the ‘Sims3_2\GameData\Shared’ folder.
8) COPY the ‘support’ folder from the ‘Sims3’ folder to the ‘Sims3_2’ folder.
9) COPY the following files from the ‘Sims3’ folder to the ‘Sims3_2’ folder:
autorun.inf
eauninsall.ico
sims3.ico
skuversion.txt
10) Using the Notepad open the ‘Autorun.inf’ file in the ‘Sims3_2’ folder and edit as shown below then Save it.

11) Using the UDF format, Burn the contents of the ‘Sims3’ folder to a DVD (or Create an ISO) with the Label: Sims3_2
12) Using the UDF format, Burn the contents of the ‘Sims3_2’ folder to a DVD (or Create an ISO) with the Label: Sims3
Note: Both DVD’s use the same Label.
